The Ohio Ethics Law E-Course

The course below is approximately one hour in length and offers an overview of the entire Ethics Law. An electronic certificate of completion will be offered at the end of the e-course. Do not turn off your browser at completion of course until you have completed the Certificate of Completion page! To receive your Certificate of Completion the course must be viewed in one sitting.

Created for 2025, this e-course challenges the learner to apply knowledge regarding the Ohio Ethics Law, including: conflicts of interest, public contracts, nepotism, post-employment and representation.

For state officials and employees (including financial disclosure filers), completion of this e-course fulfills your Ohio Ethics Law training requirement under Executive Order 2019-11D.

Special note: This e-course is approved for one (1.00) hour of General CLE credit! (Eligible once per calendar year.)

For other Continuing Education Units, please check with your appropriate licensing board to determine course eligibility for credit

  • Level A: Meets all priority 1 checkpoints
  • Level AA: meets all priority 1 and 2 checkpoints
  • Level AAA: meets all priority 1, 2, and 3 checkpoints

Our courses conform to the AA compliance level and feature closed-captioning, screen-reader compatibility, and keyboard navigability.
